Suggestions for Pod Photography.
- Before each label is printed to be photographed with each pod: double check accession information in Cocoa Trees database: position #, accession name etc to verify that label is accurate and cannot be “questioned” later on.
- Keep updated collection records that are available to everyone involved in the project.
- To minimise the size of the image file without sacrificing resolution, the area between pod and both the ruler and colour scale should be decreased to a standard space of around 1.5 or 2 cm on each side of the pod. This will not only minimise file size of the original raw file but will also lessen the amount of editing required to reduce the overall file size.
